Maurice Fider Supports Chattanooga 2.0

Maurice Fider joins the Chamber as Communications Assistant for the Chamber's Marketing and Communications department, focusing on Chattanooga 2.0. Fider will give the majority of his time to the 2.0 initiative.

Fider’s greatest passion is helping others achieve their goals, but most of all helping them become the best ‘them’ possible. Thus Fider joins our team focusing on 2.0, an initiative that's all about people.

“My dad always wanted my brothers and I to be teachers, but we refused. Years later and we all are involved in some part of the education pipeline,” Fider says.

Fider grew up in Connecticut but now calls Chattanooga home after earning a degree in Public Relations from Southern Adventist University. Fider’s experience focuses on social media and graphic design within the nonprofit and higher education sectors.

Fider is more than up to the task of the Chamber’s continued support of Chattanooga 2.0.

“We all have a part to play, be it teacher or supporter. Either way it is our responsibility to secure the future for our community,” Fider says.
